Wisdom of weekend: Essential oils (Post3): Rose hip seed Oil

Hello beauties. Hope your weekend is full of fun. Today I am sharing with you another secret clear radiant beautiful skin. Welcome to the miracle of "Rose hip seed Essential Oil".

Its a dry oil meaning very light non greasy oil, gets absorbed by skin quickly.
It worked as a miracle oil for Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr :-)




What is  Rose hip seed oil ?
Rose hip seed oil is extracted from the seeds of a wild rose bush (Rosa moschata or Rosa rubiginosa). It is pressed oil which contains high amounts of beta carotene (Provitamin A), Vitamin C , antioxidants and essential fatty acids like omega-6.
Its is mainly for treating skin problems like eczema, acne, scars and dry mature skin.
Its also used as a good moisturizer for brittle nails ans sun burnt skin.

(Note: Please use your own discretion and do a patch test while following any advises because everyone's skin if different)

You can mix it with some carrier oils (Mix 2-3 drops of Rose hip seed oil in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil)
Examples are:
Jojoba Oil
Sweet Almond Oil
Coconut Oil
Olive Oil
Avocado Oil
Castor Oil

Any caution ?
Its shelf life is usually 2 years . Do check the manufacturing date. Store it in a cool dry and safe place.
It may irritate skin if used in high concentration.
Check for any allergies to it by doing a patch test on small area of skin and look for any reactions.
Stop using it if skin shows any reaction/irritation/redness/swelling/itching.
Please consult your doctor for its usage if your you are pregnant, nursing mother or undergoing any medical treatment
